The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Dean Stock, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.

It was moved by Bensley and seconded by Hecht to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all, motion carried.

It was moved by Hecht and seconded by Bensley to approve the following drainage assessments and deliver them to the County Treasurer for collection with the regular property taxes: DD 23 – a levy of 90% of the original assessment to generate $1,503.00; DD 28 – a levy of 30% of the original assessment to generate $6,960.24; DD 30 – a levy of 30% of the original assessment to generate $4,396.42; DD 36 – a levy of 75% of the original assessment to generate $3,569.55; DD 57 Main Open Ditch – a levy of 175% of the original assessment to generate $43,890.00; DD 57 Tile Branch B – a levy of 60% of the original assessment to generate $5,788.20; DD 57 Lateral 3-B – a levy of 275% of the original assessment to generate $2,964.50; DD 59 – a levy of 650% of the original assessment to generate $15,628.80. Ayes all, motion carried. The foregoing assessments are due and payable September 30, 2010 with 18% interest per annum being incurred after that date.

The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.

Mike Riedell and the Engineer discussed the purchase of two new motor graders and some maintenance staffing issues.

Jim Dreeszen, Sac Twp Clerk and Arlin Sigman, Sac Twp Trustee were present to discuss funding a new fire truck for the Auburn Fire Dept. The Sac Twp officials were seeking permission to borrow money from a bank to fund their share of the purchase price of the new truck.

It was moved by Hecht and seconded by Bensley to grant the Sac Township Trustees permission to borrow money to pay for their share of the fire truck for the Auburn Fire Dept. Ayes all, motion carried.

With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
